Packing & Unpacking in the Baltimore Area
Free, No-Obligation Estimate
Pack the entire house or just the breakables, with materials that hold up over the road. It all gets labeled by room, and we will unpack you at the new place as well.
Packing & Unpacking in the Baltimore Area
Pressed for time, or dreading the china and the stemware? We pack Baltimore-area homes with quality materials and a careful hand. Give us the entire house, or only the kitchen, the artwork, and the electronics, and keep the rest yourself.
What sets it apart
Solid packing is what delivers things intact, and it matters twice as much over a long haul. We box things in double-wall cartons, honest newsprint and bubble, and made-for-the-job dish and mirror boxes, tagging each by its room so nothing ends up lost.
What we pack
- Kitchens, dishes, and glassware
- Art, mirrors, and electronics
- Books, closets, and wardrobe boxes
- Whole-home or partial, your pick
What we bring
- Double-wall boxes in every size
- Packing paper and bubble wrap

Three Steps to Moving Day
From the first hello to the last box carried up the stoop and set in the right room.
Tell Us About the Move
Give us the shape of the move by phone, on a quick video call, or straight through the form. What comes back is a flat price in writing, not a soft number that swells once the truck is loaded.
Lock In Your Date
Claim your day and we set the right crew and truck, then square away the city parking spot, the building COI, or the base-access pass your move needs.
We Carry the Load
One lead runs the whole job, wrap, load, drive, and place, with our own Anne Arundel crew, and we plan the run around 695 and the harbor tunnels so the day stays on time.

Fully Insured
Every job carries cargo and liability coverage, and we go over your valuation choices with you before you sign a single form.

Marble stoops, narrow front doors, formstone rows, and third-floor walk-ups, we scout the carry and the parking so a city move never gets stuck at the door.

What Our Customers Say
I can't recommend these guys enough. They called to confirm a few days before, which alleviated my stress, and texted to let me know they'd be a couple of minutes late. While loading and unloading the truck they were careful, efficient, extremely courteous, and really nice guys. They were so good that I ran out and got more cash so I could give them a bigger tip. Best movers I've worked with by far.
We couldn't be happier with K&M Movers! Prompt, courteous, and professional from start to finish. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of service. Best moving experience we've ever had!
I cannot express how wonderful our experience with K&M Movers was. They were friendly, worked super hard and super fast, and got all of our many belongings safely up two flights of spiral staircases. They were recommended to us and I am happy to pass the recommendation on!
Questions We Hear a Lot
What do you pack with?
Sturdy double-wall cartons, clean newsprint and bubble, purpose-built boxes for dishes and mirrors, and wardrobe boxes that leave clothes on their hangers. We write the room on the side of each box, so the unload moves fast and nothing wanders off.
What is my move going to run?
It rides on two things: how much you are moving and how tight the access is. A two-mover crew with a truck starts at $125/hr, and you get an itemized written estimate before we pick up a single box. Want a hard ceiling? Request a flat cap and whatever you sign becomes the most your bill can reach. Out-of-state jobs are priced on the weight and the miles.
Is there anything you won’t load?
Not much, and what there is comes down to safety and the law: propane, gasoline, paint, and anything flammable, plus ammunition, houseplants, food that will spoil, and pets. Have something huge, heavy, or worth a fortune? Mention it at booking so the right crew and gear turn up.
What if a piece gets damaged?
Careful padding makes it uncommon, but if a piece does take a hit we note it right there and open the claim that same afternoon. Ahead of the job we run through released against full-value coverage, so you know precisely how a claim would play out.
Can I move or cancel my date?
Absolutely. Move your date or call it off with two days’ notice or more, and your deposit lands back with you in full. Your booking lists every condition in plain language, so nothing is left to guesswork.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. K&M Movers holds Maryland household-goods authority and full insurance, and your job stays with our own crew the whole way, with no broker skimming a piece in the middle. Happy to share the authority numbers and the coverage details, just say the word and we will go over your valuation choices before anything is final.
